Simple Wisdom

I wonder if God allowed me to be a wife just so my husband would have someone to share his simple wisdom with!

We were discussing 'church' and what 'church' is with a young visitor we had, on our way back from Sunday morning services that we had attended in a barn.

Out of the blue, my husband said; "Do you know where the first 'church' was held in the New Testament?"

"Where?", we asked.

"In a barn.", he said.

And so it was!

The first worship service was held in a barn and the altar was a feeding trough. Luke 2

And now our altars are our hearts and some of the best worship services I've attended have been in a car!
